In the light of Fr Gabriel’s absence from the parish due to ill health, Bishop Donal McKeown has appointed Fr Derek Kearney SMA as Temporary Administrator of St Teresa’s Parish. He will reside in the Parochial House and will be available for parish pastoral duties. Fr Derek has been assisting elsewhere in the Diocese and his generosity and willingness to be of help is very much appreciated. I’m sure everyone at St Teresa’s will extend a warm welcome to Fr Derek and keep him in your prayers as he takes up his new parish responsibilities. We continue to pray for Fr Gabriel and wish him every blessing as he takes the time he needs to rest and recover.
