On Sunday, 15th June 2025, Mrs Christine Gordon very kindly and generously gifted this beautiful Penal Cross from 1724 to St Teresa’s Parish. The cross had been in Mrs Gordon’s family for generations. Fr Gabriel, Fr Laurence and the Parish Pastoral Council received the cross from Mrs Gordon, which is now displayed for veneration in St Matthias’ Church near the organ.

Fr Gabriel, Fr Laurence, the Parish Pastoral Council and the wider St Teresa’s Parish would like to thank Mrs Gordon and her family for this beautiful and historic gift, and we look forward to it continuing to strengthen the faith in our Parish for generations to come.
