European Family Weekend, 25 – 27 August 2023, Co. Kildare: an opportunity to energise family relationships and faith, suitable for children ages 6 and older.

The Family Weekend offers families the opportunity to energise their relationships, using a language and an approach suitable for all ages (6 years and older). Two Italian families and a priest will lead the weekend by telling their own stories of family life. Activities are carried out within family groups, with opportunities being given to share the fruits of their work.

The Family Weekend has been established in Italy for over 25 years (by the Italian Marriage Encounter movement). This is the second Weekend of its kind outside of Italy (Spain hosting the first in April 2023). It will be offered to families across Ireland and the UK.

The Family Weekend is available to all families at no fixed charge (beyond the deposit).
We request a non-refundable deposit of €50 (£45) per family (towards the cost of the venue).
We will simply ask families to donate what they can afford at the end of the Weekend.
